Walking around the cemetery, all the funerary chapel typology are fitted as altars, where people stand in front of it without interaction with space and dedicating just few minutes to remember their beloved relatives.

The project turns this strange behavior configuring the new fitting as a place to stay, to sit and remember.

The disposition of different elements, the presence of the bench, are all coordinate by the catholic allegory, while the materials adopted, the bricks and the iron, are related to the traditional materials of the location and to the work of the family.

The use of the bricks wants to balance with their heavy and dark material the spirituality of the place, playing with this sense of dualism, the Heaven and the Earth, which is an important figure inside the religion.
