The project stands along the northern shore of the historical Naviglio Grande canal, in the Municipality of Albairate, close to Milan.
The presence of the Naviglio, the agricultural landscape, that surround the area, have defined the initial concept of the project to transform the area with the overlap of horizontal masses above the ground which dialogue with the horizontal lines of the irrigation canals, the dirt roads and horizon.
The species of trees are selected to recreate the image of poplar cultivation, typical of this area, and to create a green filter between the new architectures and the historical canal.
The new buildings are characterized by horizontal crowns, suspend volumes above the grounds that allow to the interior spaces to be in direct connection with the exteriors spaces and the surrounded panorama.
