The new nursery school is placed inside the schools complex completing the north-east side of the great internal courtyard, on which all the existing schools have a view.
The building, with its singular triangular shape, is characterized by the big glass arches, to recall and remember the beautiful porticos of the historic centre of the Modigliana village: the school, so is defined as a city in the city, made of squares, porticos and workshops absorbed inside the existing woods which filters the surrounding residential quarter and the define the external school space.
The classes are placed all in connection, thanks to openable walls, to create joint spaces and allow collective lessons and playtimes.
