The building is conceived as a tectonic element, made of different crests, working on the different structural stripes, and projecting the classrooms into the green external area.
Inside, the central space acts like a telescope, limited by curved walls, it stabilizes a new visual relation to the valley and river Serio, creating a new educational environment that stimulated the children thanks to forms, lights and colors.
The movement of the green roof allows the use of skylights to provide a zenit light into the interiors and give also the perception of the sky into the classrooms.
The classrooms, have a special second level accessible thanks to stairs that are hidden behind a wardrobe, and so giving the idea to kids to enter into a special and fantastic place like the main characters of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
